Hey i have decided to enlighten you all on the many various types of teams that are in the X-men comics and the first one that i thought i would cover is the HELLFIRE CLUB
My main reason for this is that they are featured in the upcoming Xmen movie X-Men First Class;
The Hellfire club often comes into confrontation with the mutant superhero team, the X-Men. Although the Club appears to merely be an international social club for wealthy elites, its clandestine Inner Circle seeks to influence world events to their own agenda. The Hellfire Club was introduced in extremely famous "The Dark Phoenix Saga", attempting to subvert the X-Men's Jean Grey to their cause.
There are many members to the Hellfire Club and heres the list;
- Sebastian Shaw - Metabolizes kinetic energy into greater physical attributes, such attributes as strength.
- Emma Frost - Telepathy of great strength, such as being able Memory Alteration, and can turn her skin into Diamonds.
- Harry Leland - Able to increase mass.
- Donald Pierce - Is a cyborg with superhuman strength and reflexes.
- Tessa - Ability to jumpstart a mutats power.
- Selene - Ability to warp realities.
- Magneto - Able to create magnetic fields allowing him to control metal objects.
- Shinobi Shaw - Ability to control his bodies density
- Trevor Fitzroy - Ability to absorb life energy from humans
- Madelyne Pryor - Teleportation and teleknesis
- Phoenix - Unlimited cosmic powers
- Sunspot - Projection of heat and light and concussive blasts
